General maintenance instructions for +vestis+:
As you can read on the care label on your cape, we recommend hand washing and NO tumble dryer. A slight loss of color of the black yarn and a slight mottling of the white are to be considered normal given the nature of the yarns used, so don’t be alarmed :).
During production the +vestis+ were treated by rinsing in cold water, vinegar and salt for energy purification and color preserving, and then washed with an ecological detergent specific for woolen and delicate garments. Subsequently, a delicate rinsed with ecological fabric softener and machine spun at 600 rpm. The drying process was done naturally which was followed by a 15 minute tumbler with cold air and subsequent steam ironing.
